This is an excellent, hand woven flat weave rug by master weaver Emilio Reyna. It was made using 100% soft, fine hand spun yarns in a beautiful Ganado Klagetoh Flor pattern. The rug was hand woven with a tight weave of 100% hand spun wool yarns, which offers natural variegation and durability with color fast aniline dyes. The tight hand woven weave displays bright, rich tones in the fine Ganado Klagetoh Flor pattern of the time-honored Zapotec, multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Emilio Reyna. The rug shows a phenomenal, Navajo-like Ganado Klagetoh pattern, which is of the historic Lorenzo Hubbell Trading Post days of the 1800’s. The rug displays modern contemporary detail, showing a cream heathered background, large crystal diamond pattern, crystal lightening medallion with stepped central decoration set to a central red field, black bordering, and a cream/white main field. The rug also shows a unique quadruple braided black and white set of four tassels. The piece is brand new, in pristine condition, with a fine, tight weave. The rug measures 4’ by 6.5' (4 foot by 6.5 foot). This is a brand-new rug.
