Included in this lot we have a original lion family painting signed by Biau. The painting shows a family of five lions laying down on grass and rock strewn ground. The group consists of a large male lion with a good mane, a lioness and three cubs. They show wonderful detail in the faces and fur of the lions and it is signed in the bottom right corner reading "Biau". The piece is set in a gold painted enamel frame with ornate patterning. The piece shows good condition overall with some chips in the frame. The frame measures 43" wide by 31" tall.
