Featured in this lot is this original, beautifully framed oil painted done by ?. It is set in a beautiful, gold gilt Baroque style cove frame to create depth and draw the viewers eyes inward to the painting. The oil painting shows a forest scene with a woman walking along the middle of a trail. The gloomy sky and trees appearing with little leaves gives the idea that this was taking place during late fall, just before snowfall. In the distance is a blue figure, possibly a painted horse drawn wagon or farm tool of sorts. It is signed in the bottom left in black paint, but no artist could be found. The signature possibly reads, "C. Rugnokt" or "E. Rugnokt" but no information was found. It shows good condition overall with little wear present from its age and no major signs of damage noted. The visible artwork measures 6 1/8" L x 9" W, while the entire piece measures 13 5/8" L x 16 1/2" W x 3 5/8" D. It has a weight of 5 pounds and 2 ounces.
