Featured in this lot we have an original framed oil painting of a horse by Parker Ford originating from 2011. Parker Ford is a Montana born painter known for his distinctive art style. Parker grew up in Billings, Montana and studied art at MSU as well as traveled around Europe studying classic painters. Along with painting Ford has worked in slate carving and sculpting giving him more ways to express his art. The painting depicts a dun or buckskin horse with a tan body and black mane and hooves. The horse is shown on a red and orange background with the red forming a jagged stripe across the center. The horse shows Ford's distinctive art style with a compressed torso and long legs. The piece is signed in the bottom right hand corner reading "Parker Ford 2011" with the back reading "Many Hands Parker Ford 2011". The piece is set into a black frame and shows good condition overall. The frame measures 22 1/2" wide by 28 1/2" tall with the art measuring 17 1/4" wide by 23 1/4" tall.
