For your consideration is this framed original Paul English oil painting of a man riding his horse from the 20th C. Paul English is active in the United Kingdom and is known for his paintings depicting horses, dogs, farm animals and more. This painting shows a man dressed in formal riding attire riding atop a beautiful chestnut colored horse in a pastoral landscape. The background features an open countryside scene with rolling hills and a soft blue sky, giving the painting a classic feel. A second horse can be seen grazing in the background, adding a nice depth to the oil painting. It is set in an ornate gold colored frame with decorative molding, complimenting the historical style of the artwork. It is signed in the bottom left in black paint reading, "P. English". The painting shows good condition overall with wear present to the frame, but no wear or damage noted on the painting. The visible artwork measures 17 5/8" L x 23 5/8" W, while the entire piece measures 26" L x 32" W x 3 1/2" D. It has a total weight of 10 pounds and 2 ounces.
