Included in this lot is an Original Watercolor and Oil Signed Painting of a Farm Winter Landscape. Artist's signature is at bottom right corner. The winterscape is of a hillside with the farmhouse and barn in the immediate background separated from hillside snow covered fir trees by a three-strand wire fence, a not yet frozen pond in the foreground reflecting the images of nearby leafless deciduous trees and fir trees from the background. There is something magical about this winter wonderland, between the pure white and heart-warming browns. There is a glory in the silence, in the reverent awe of nature, in the stoicism of root and branch. The hillside rises in snow-white brilliance, a silent invitation too good for the soul not to accept. This original watercolor and oil painting is in excellent condition. The quadruple-matted gold gilt wood frame is in very good condition with very minimal scuffing noted to the frame edges, no other obvious marring is noted.
