Featured in this lot is a pair of vintage, Huron style ashwood and leather snowshoes believed to have been made by Gros-Louis. This vintage pair of Huron snowshoes features white ash frames with rawhide webbing and leather buckle bindings. Huron snowshoes originated in Northeastern Canada. They have long tails, which aid in walking a straight line on trails, rolling terrain, or the open woods. These snowshoes have no makers mark. Overall these snow shoes are in good condition with the rawhide and leather straps intact. They measure 40 1/2" L x 11 1/2" W.
