Featured in this lot is a pair of vintage ashwood, rawhide, and leather Huron style snowshoes. This vintage pair of Huron snowshoes features white ash frames with rawhide webbing and leather buckle bindings. Huron snowshoes originated in Northeastern Canada. They have long tails, which aid in walking a straight line in the snow. These snowshoes have no makers mark. The snowshoes are in good condition with all rawhide webbing and leather buckles intact. The snowshoes measure 42" L x 12" W.
