Included in this lot is a pair of western leather rifle saddle scabbards, originating from the early 1900's. The rifle scabbards displays thick leather construction with strap loops. The scabbards are designed to attach to the sides of saddles and hold a rifle. The first of the saddle scabbards is a Hunter brand, designed to fit a scoped rifle; the second rifle scabbard is unmarked. The piece shows good condition overall, with some wear due to age. The first of the rifle scabbards measures 35 1/4" long by 8 1/2" wide with the second measuring 32" long by 7 1/2" wide.
