For your consideration is this Papgo Indian hand woven basket, circa 1979, from Kitt Peak Arizona and shown from artist Matilda Sangiuio. This is made by sewing coils together and it is primarily constructed from bear grass. The primary coil is stitched through with the white coils constructed from bleached yucca. The condition of this hand woven coil basket is good, showing no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this Papago hand woven coil basket are 1 1/4" x 13" x 9 3/4".
