This hand carved sculpture is wonderfully and professionally crafted hardwood construction with heavy attention to detail with a bust performance of Sitting bull in ceremonial garments including a feathered headdress and adorned with trade beaded necklace. The sculpture is marked in the back as follows: "Sitting Bull Medicine Man Sioux - #19 - P. Geiger - 72. One of the most detailed wood carvings we have ever offered for sale. The artist is known for doing only one example of each sculpture, making this a one off work of art.
