The grip displays black painted cast metal grip. The pommel shows a knight helmet with a chain connecting it to the guard. The scabbard displays metal construction with brass accents and is marked "Pax Aut Bellum" and "G. M. D. Steel.” The piece shows good condition overall, with some light wear. The sword measures 34" long, with the blade being 27 1/2" long.
