Featured in this lot we have a Pedersoli Italian black powder Kentucky rifle chambered in .45 caliber. This rifle is a modern Italian reproduction of a classic Kentucky black powder rifle. The rifle displays a 41" long octagonal barrel, fine walnut stock, case hardened flintlock system, double trigger action, and brass accents and trigger guard. The barrel is marked on the side reading "Black Powder Only - Italy /20 Pedersoli - cal .45" along with serial number and import/ manufacture proof marks. The stock shows brass accents of a decorative medallion on the top of the tang and a heart on the right side along with the brass trigger guard and crescent butt plate. The rifle shows wonderful finish across the exterior with a warm brown finish across the barrel and case hardening on the hammer and lock plate. Mechanically the rifle shows smooth action and fully functional trigger system. The rifle shows good condition overall with little wear across the piece. Serial Number: DA140850. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
