Featured in this lot is this Pendleton chief's banded Beaver State wool blanket. The blanket features bands of red, blue, green, and black with scattered crosses throughout. In 1912, Pendleton began producing wool blankets with authentic, traditional Native American Indian designs for some of the Northwest Tribes under the Beaver State label. Pendleton blankets and the Beaver State label have since been highly regarded for quality, durability, and warmth. The condition of this blanket is good, showing no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this blanket are 58 1/2" x 71".
