For your consideration is a Peter Crisp 22K color inlay glass bowl. Peter Crisp has been working since 1978 with glass molding techniques using the fused and slumped method. Having studied at Sydney College of the Arts, Crisp has exhibited his work in more than 60 exhibitions both in Australia and abroad. His work relates itself to ancient Egyptian glass working practices by using modern molding materials and equipment. Crisp produces three highly individual designs which are decorated by hand with 22 carat gold. To take advantage of its greater strength, Skoda type lass is used. Peter Crisp is well known for his tableware decorated with screen-printed patterns, 22ct gold and semi-precious gems. This little shallow bowl with colored glass inlay design is the simplest of his works. With various cut and fused small pieces and decorated with 22k gold and little dots of color formed by melting glass beads. Each piece of work created is signed 'Crisp'.
