Featured in this lot is this photograph cabinet card called "Roundup West of Missouri River" by P.H. Kellogg born in 1899 to 1958. The photograph shows a scene of a herd of cows being round up and balled up for counting in a valley area with a tent and chuck wagon to the right behind the herd. The back of the cabinet card is marked as follows: Round Up on range west of Ft. Pierre 1903-09. P.H. Kellogg, also known as Paul Howard Kellogg, was an American artist and illustrator known for his contributions to wildlife art, particularly his depictions of horses, dogs, and scenes of the American West.
