Featured in this lot is this framed original watercolor painting from artist Phil Tyler (1914-1983)titled "Good Morning". He was born March 18, 1914 in Mobile, Alabama. Phil Tyler had his paintings shown all over the western United States and had also been exhibited in the eastern states, including New York City and Washington, D. C. He has been featured in American Artist Magazine and was a member of the National Watercolor Society and the Western Artists Association. He was past president of the Oregon Watercolor Society. Phil worked mostly in watercolor but also did some work in other media. His paintings were of western landscapes and his specialties were horses and scenes of Mt. Hood. This painting depicts four horses grazing in a meadow, while two look straight onto the viewer. The painting shows great attention to detail and an amazing color palate. The painting is signed on the bottom right hand corner reading, "Phil Tyler". The painting is framed in a large wood frame and is set behind glass. Overall the piece is in good condition with no signs of obvious damage present. The art measures 17 1/4" L x 23 1/2" W, while the entire piece measures 25 " L x 31 1/4" W.
