Featured in this lot is this Plains Indians, fully top beaded, men's moccasins, circa 1950's. The moccasins show a wonderful arrangement of geometric patterns consistent with the decoration of Plains Indians. There is lovely coloration to the glass trade seed beads, which are in colors of chalk white for the background field and dark blue, light blue, pumpkin orange, light green, and yellow for the geometric patterns. The moccasins show Indian tanned hide with a bifurcated back and a hardened sole of parfleche hide. The condition of these moccasins is good, with no obvious signs of damage and in good, museum quality display condition. The measurements of these moccasins are 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 11 1/4".
