Featured in this lot is this Plains Indians beaded hide tobacco pouch, circa 1940's. The tobacco pouch shows Indian tanned hide construction with a wonderfully decorated 'L' shape pattern of glass trade seed beads including colors of greasy light blue, yellow, red, and black. The tanned hide shows a weathered coloration and includes an added fringe on the bottom. The condition of this beaded tobacco pouch is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this tobacco pouch are 19" x 3".
