Included in this lot is a cable Damascus and antler grip camp knife made by W. Redd in 1994. The knife shows a single edged blade with brass and antler handle. The blade shows cable Damascus construction with a single cutting edge and camp style blade. The Damascus blade shows a rough Damascus construction with some inclusions and a bad fold. The handle shows deer antler grips secured using two brass pins. The piece displays brass bolsters and brass pommel with a lanyard loop. The piece is marked across the bottom of the tang with "# 01289 W Redd '94" and an anvil and hammer mark. The piece shows good condition overall, with some wear and a small hole in the blade. The knife measures 8 1/4" long with the blade measuring 3 3/4" long. The knife is possibly from Montana and was handmade by an accomplished blacksmith, as it shows fine craftsmanship and finish.
