The lot features a set of two fully beaded hair brooches from the Plateau Native American Indian region dating to the late-1900’s. The piece is constructed of a heavy trade clothe with trade waxed cotton thread beaded geometric patterns along the border and front. The back of each rectangular hair piece has a sewn-on or glued on metal hair tie. The fronts shows a matched geometric and abstract floral beadwork pattern with all glass trade seed and petit beads with a white background and colors of Cheyenne pink, royal blue, maroon, light lavender blue, medium green, and an iridescent like pink pony bead. Each brooch measures 2 3/8” by 5 7/8”.
