Featured in this lot is this pre-Columbian frog effigy pipe bowl, circa 19th century. The pipe bowl looks to be made from a worn example of steatite, with a frog effigy shown on the female end of the pipe bowl where it connects. The pipe appears to show the early period correct drill and carved marks, indicative of their early age. The condition of this pipe bowl is good, with no obvious signs of damage; it is in good overall, museum quality condition. The measurements of this frog effigy pipe bowl are 3" x 1 1/4"x 4".
