For your bidding pleasure is this Pre-Columbian Indian Pottery Vessel. The vessel shows a darker clay almost black in color with interesting patina around the lip and towards the bottom where a hairline crack is. The patina has a rustic look to it. This vessel most likely was used for water carrying or drinking with a fluted upper and rounded body with a handle and flared lip. The measurements of this piece are 5" x 4 3/4" and the diameter of the mouth is 2 3/4".
