For your consideration is this pre-historic, Anasazi "Black Mesa" pottery vessel. This is a wonderful example of "Black Mesa" style Anasazi pottery vessel. With iconic design and decoration, this is a wonderful pottery vessel from these pre-historic peoples. Anasazi are ancient North American people of the southwestern US, who flourished between c. 200 BC and AD 1500. The earliest phase of their culture is known as the Basket Maker period; the present-day Pueblo culture developed from a later stage. The condition of this Anasazi pottery vessel is fair for its age; the pottery vessel shows some wear to the handle and the vessel opening, but it is in fair, overall condition with wear consistent with its age. The measurements of this Anasazi pottery are 8 1/2" x 6" x 6 1/4".
