For your consideration is this pre Hopi Indian Anasazi cultural corrugated vessel circa 1500 A.D. This pottery vessel shows traditional corrugated construction with a dark patina adorning the grey clay and texturing around the whole piece. Anasazi a member of an ancient North American people of the southwestern US, who flourished between c. 200 BC and AD 1500. The earliest phase of their culture is known as the Basket Maker period; the present-day Pueblo culture developed from a later stage. The condition of this pottery vessel is poor with a rupture in the side walling due to age and deterioration, however this is a good collectors piece correctly demonstrating the age of this pottery vessel. The measurements of this pottery vessel are 5" x 6 1/2" x 6 1/2".
