For your consideration, a collection of prehistoric Native American artifacts, including pottery shards and stone tools. The pottery shards include some with decorative grooves as well as a couple with painted decoration. There are eight pottery shards in all. Some of the stone tools include a pestle, hammerstones, adzes, stones used for pecking, flaking and grinding, and what appears to be a stick ball. The stone tools display two methods of stone tool manufacture: ground stone tools and flaked stone tools. There are a total of 14 stone tools in all. Many of the items have come from museum collections and have small identifying numbers on them, however no paperwork is included. A very nice collection with which to start, or to add to a larger collection.
