Offered in this unique lot is a collection of printing press blocks. Twelve of these blocks have something to do with the "Optical industry". Three blocks are advertisements for Bausch & Lomb products. Nine of the blocks are for various other optical/ eyeglass items. Two blocks are copper and are portraits of people, one a man in a uniform and one of a woman. There is one block that is a cartoon of a mother sending her son out the door to school and the son is wearing glasses. The last block is 1-80 number block grid. This block has a crack along one side. Given the styles shown in the blocks, they appear to be from the 1950's. The blocks range in size from the smallest 2" X 1 1/2" X 1" to the largest 10 1/2" X 7 1/2" X 1". All of the blocks, except the number grid, are in good condition.
