Offered in this lot is a rare copper punched picture of Native American Sun Dance ceremonies. The picture shows over forty Native Americans watching and participating in the Sun Dance ceremonies by three braves. The people in this picture are doing many various things, such as singing, drumming, eating, fighting, and more. One of the unique things about this picture is an imprint along the bottom that reads "By Courtesy Of New York Public Library For Museum Use Only". There is no artist mark, date, or title on this piece. The piece measures 9 1/2" x 7" and, other than some discoloration, is in very good condition.
