Featured in this lot is this Prospectus of the Cascade Mining Company booklet circa 1876. This book shows its original grey printed wrappers.A scarce prospectus for a silver mine owned by the Cascade Mining Company in Clear Creek County, Colorado. The first section gives a history of the development and profitability of the mine, together with its situation. There are also several testimonials from mining journals. The final section of the text contains the by0laws of the company, which is incorporated in New York City. A list of the board of trustees follows the title page. The condition of this prospectus from Cascade Mining Company booklet is well preserved with some discoloration to the cover and browning to the pages consistent with age. The measurements of this booklet are 9 1/8" x 5 7/8".
