Featured in this lot is this Quebec, Colorado custom batwing work chaps circa 1910 to 1940's. The chaps feature a wonderfully and professionally crafted leather, brass, and stainless steel construction that shows a batwing shape with pockets sewn into the chaps. The chaps show a makers mark on the chap belt (most of it can be read but the top rocker is unreadable) as follows: "" "" E Davis - Always Reliable - Quebec, Colo. The brass buttons are marked from the iconic saddlery out of Denver, Colorado 'Heiser'. The condition of this pair of chaps is well preserved with some wear to the leather consistent with age and use of the chaps is in well preserved condition. The overall measurements of this pair of chaps is 42" x 18". The collective weight of this pair of chaps is 5lbs.
