Featured in this lot is this pair of leather half chaps from Montana maker R.S. Giles out of Virgina City, Mont. Terr. circa 1930's. There is one full pair of half chaps in the collection with two pieces in the lot featuring straps that wrap around ones knee and is crafted from leather with sewn leather stamped and tooled decoration sewn into the chaps with lines of brass tacks lining the bottom of the chaps and around the bottom decoration. The condition of this pair of half chaps is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this pair of half chaps is 24 1/2" x 9 1/2".
