For your consideration is a Ranger semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun. This Ranger shotgun is most likely a Savage Model 720 made for the Sears & Roebuck Company. The shotgun is otherwise unmarked of any maker’s marks. The left side of the barrel is marked “PROOF TESTED 12 GAUGE FULL” and a circled “SP”. The underside of the barrel ring lug is marked with a circled “SP” and an “L”. The left side of the receiver is marked with the picture of a cowboy on a horse and “RANGER”. The shotgun is fit with a beautiful straight grain walnut stock and a checkered fore grip and pistol grip on the stock.
