For your consideration is this collection of rare Montana bottles. The seven bottle collection includes three beer bottles, two soft drink bottles, a milk bottle, and an olive oil bottle. The heel of the bottle is marked "Montana Coca-Cola Bottling Company" and the base is marked "Butte, Mont" Of the beer bottles, one is a large amber bottle with a "Custer Brand/ Montana" label on it. in the center of the label is a likeness of Gen. Geo. Custer. The bottom right portion of the label is missing. The bottle itself is not marked. A second beer bottle is a stubby amber bottle marked "Lucky Premium Beer". This bottle is has the maker's mark for the Owen-Illinois Glass Company; the date code indicates 1966. This bottle was painted later with a Butte, MT scene; the artwork is unsigned.
