Featured in this lot is this rare firearms maintenance tool collection from the Tombstone Gunsmith shop of S.L. Hart circa 1880-1911; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. There are a total of nine total tools in this collection. The following is a list of the tools: M1855 US Main Spring Vise, Civil War Era nipple wrench combo tool, nipple wrench BP 1851-1860-1858 colt revolver, 19th century nipple wrench, M1903/03A3 Springfield trapdoor rifle tool, Takedown tool colt 1911 or 1911A1, leverage hexbolt socket. These tools were displayed in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum to date and were found in an old Colt tool box in Tombstone from the S.L. Hart gunsmith shop. The condition of this collection of firearm maintenance tools is good with only slight wear shown to the blueing of the tools but otherwise shows a good condition. The measurements of these tools ranges from 3/4" x 3/8" x 3/8" to 3 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/2". The collective weight of this collection of tools is 236.5g.
