Captured in its pages, this dictionary reflects the change between 1909 and 1927, a fascinating historical moment of great technological and social change. Automobiles spread, electricity becomes common. Airplanes, World War I, Bolshevism, nuclear physics, and jazz all expanded their foothold on modern culture during this timeframe. Bound in a calf leather hardcover, in amazingly good condition. Covers and spine are stamped with gold gilt lettering.
