The lot features a full body taxidermy mount of a Red Handed Tamarin Monkey. This is a completley legal mount and very rare example. The red-handed tamarin is a small New World monkey from northeastern South America, easily recognized by its black body and bright orange-red hands and feet. It lives in Brazil, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana, weighs about 400–550 g, and typically inhabits rainforest canopies. This shows the full mount on a log with grassy bottom. Very good condition. Measures 16.5-inches high by 11.5-inches wide by 7.5-inches deep. Rare mount with other examples selling for $1,000 at auction.
