Frederic Sackrider Remington (October 4, 1861 – December 26, 1909) was an American painter, illustrator, sculptor and writer who specialized in depictions of the American Old West. The chromo lithograph shows a mounted cavalryman walking on green scenic flat ground with a good look at his whole combat kit. The condition of this chromolithograph is good with very little wear to the artwork however the backing it is mounted on shows some damage to the border. The measurements of of this bordered chromo lithograph is 16" x 14" and the visible art measures 10 1/2" x 8 1/2".
