For your consideration is a Remington Model 592M 5MM bolt action rifle. The 5mm Remington Rimfire Magnum or 5mm RFM is a bottlenecked rimfire cartridge introduced by Remington Arms Company in 1969. Remington chambered it in a pair of bolt-action rifles, the Model 591 and Model 592, but the round never became very popular, and the rifles were discontinued in 1974. This Model 592M features a 24" round blue'd barrel. This tub fed rifle has markings on the barrel reading "Remington Arms, Co. Inc. Ilion, N.Y. Made in the U.S.A. - Remington Model 592M - For 5MM Rem. Only." The straight grain walnut stock is in good condition but shows signs of wear from use. The pistol grip has a cap marked "Remington 5MM Magnum." This rifle was manufactured in 1970. Serial Number: 1026464. This is a modern firearm and requires a FFL transfer or NICS background check.
