Desirable and discontinued Remington Model 700 ML .50 Caliber Muzzle Loading rifle. The Model 700 ML was Remington’s offering into the “modern” bolt action muzzle loading rifle field from 1996-2004. This example with serial number ML 047898 is made completely of stainless steel and is fitted with a checkered pistol grip camo stock with Remington marked recoil pad. It has the desirable conversion unit in the breech to accept the more powerful 209 shotshell primer instead of a percussion cap. This additional breech block made ignition more positive and reduced fouling in the chamber area. The primer is placed after the easy opening/removal of the bolt. Additionally, this rifle comes with lever actuated quick detachable scope rings in which is mounted a Simmons 2.8-10X44mm scope with excellent optics and snap-open weather proof lens caps. This rifle also features an adjustable rear barrel sight and factory ramp blade front sight. It is also fitted with quick detachable sling swivels complete with matching camo sling. Out of production for 18 years, the Remington Model 700 ML is now considered a classic and eagerly sought by Remington collectors and muzzle loading enthusiasts. Serial Number: 047089. This firearm qualifies as a black powder rifle, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
