The sculpture features a wonderfully and professionally crafted bronze construction that shows a little boy named Black Frog dancing and is mounted on a wooden shield and shows a brass plaque that reads as follows: Black Frog Dancing - R.V. Greeves. The bronze is marked on the back as follows: R.V. Greeves- 10/50 - 2016. Greeves (1935-2022) Famed sculptor, Richard V. Greeves, lived over sixty years in Fort Washakie on Wyoming's Wind River Indian Reservation and brought an appreciation and awareness of the native cultures he strived to portray. His art is informed by a deep understanding of America's past, but also its present. The condition of this bronze sculpture is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this bronze sculpture is 10 1/2" x 3 7/8" x 4 3/4". The collective weight of this bronze is 4lb 6oz.
