For your consideration is an Original Signed Rick Young Oil on Canvas, "Under The Western Sky". Capturing the quiet beauty of the rural Southwest, Young, a longtime Coloradoan, has been drawn to the canyons, mesas, hills and mountains of northern New Mexico. His colorful paintings focus not on pristine nature but on the interplay between the land and its peoples—Native American, Hispanic, and Anglo. These works celebrate the simple lifestyle of those who struggle to eke a living from the land. Villages, hayfields, ranch buildings, and churches populate the landscapes in Young’s paintings. Adobe churches, testaments to the humble faith of generations of New Mexicans, anchor many of the scenes. Rick's work is on display at Acosta-Strong Fine Art in Santa Fe', New Mexico, and Miranda FIne Art in Denver, Colorado. This oil on canvas painting is in beautiful condition and has stunning colours. No marring is noted. The painting has been professionally mounted & stretched on a gold gilt wood frame with wall hanging hardware installed. Scuffing noted to the inner and outer edges noted. Visible art measures 29.25"W x 35.25"L, frame is 35.75"W x 41.75"L x 1.5"D
