Featured in this lot is this 1941-42 Rollfast Semper Supreme bicycle, manufactured by D.P. Harris Hardware & Manufacturing Company and H.P. Snyder Manufacturing Company. Rollfast Bicycles were manufactured by the D.P. Harris Hardware and Manufacturing Co. in the late 1890s and early 1900s. Harris teamed up with the H.P. Snyder Manufacturing Co. in 1900, with Snyder primarily manufacturing the bikes while Harris provided parts and marketing. The Rollfast name was originated by DeLancey P. Harris in the 1890s. At their peak before World War II, Rollfast, along with Columbia, sold 75% of bikes in the US. This bike shows a nice, red and white color scheme and matching red seat. It features a chain guard and working kickstand along with a luggage rack on the back. The front features a head light but does not turn on when the switch is flipped. This is a womans style bike showing a more step in style and skinnier handle bars. It shows good condition overall with wear present from its age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted. It measures 72" L x 22 7/8" W x 39 3/4" H. Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona.
