Featured in this lot is this Rosslron "Birds of the Bay," sculptures from Victoria, B.C. Canada. There are three sculptures in this collection. The sculptures feature polished stone and iron construction that shows the bodies of the birds as polished stone and the legs, neck, and head shows as manipulated iron rods that are set into the stone. The two larger sculptures shows two birds per piece one smaller and one larger and each of the pieces are marked with the Rosslron hallmark on the base of the pieces. Ross was born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia. Over the past 20 years Ross has enjoyed combining the forms of stone and wrought iron to create individual and unique pieces. Ross possesses Journeyman tickets in Steel Fabrication, Shipfitter and Boilermaker. Ross is also a certified welder. The condition of this of these sculpture is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of these sculptures are 32 3/4" x 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" and 12 3/4" x 5" x 5" for the smaller one.
