For your consideration is this framed and signed oil on canvas titled, "Sea Washed" done by S. Kirschenmann circa late 1900s. The painting shows an ocean scene as waves crash into a large rock sitting off the shore. The rocky shore is getting bombarded with the crashing waves as well. The sky shows colors of gray, gray/blue, and yellow as the sun tries to shine through the cumulonimbus clouds. The artist's signature can be seen in the bottom right hand corner in dark paint reading, "Syl". The wood frame and painting show good condition overall with slight wear present to the frame but no signs of damage is noted. The visible art measures 17 1/2" L x 23 1/2" W, while the entire piece measures 20 3/4" L x 26 3/4" W x 1 3/8" D. It weighs 2 pounds and 14 ounces.
