The barrel is marked "Finnbear - Made in Finland" on the left and "Sako Cal. .25-06" on the top. The receiver is marked "L61R" on the left. Sako rifles are known for their crisp triggers, well-fitted parts, and honest minute-of-angle accuracy. Introduced by Sako in 1961 for long cartridge shooting, the Finnbear quickly developed a reputation as one of the finest production rifles ever made.
