Featured in this lot is this scrimshaw carve polished bone snuff box circa 1950's. The bone snuff box features a wonderfully and professionally crafted bone, iron, and brass construction that features a polished bone cavity that is scrimshaw decorated that is marked 'Helen' in a heart and on script, and the other side is scrimshaw decorated of a rose. The condition of this snuff box is good with some discoloration to the bone due to age and some oxidation adorning the lid but otherwise shows good overall condition. The measurements of this snuff box is 2" x 3 1/2" x 1".
