The lot features an original, circa 1960’s, Seiko Bell-Matic alarm, automatic men’s wrist watch in rare two tone coloring. The watch appears to work well, with the crown changing the time, day date, and setting the alarm inner bezel. The watch has a good mechanism and is working, with the alarm working as well. The watch has a fine brass case with stainless and brass two tone original bracelet, brass inner bezel, gold (or brass) indices, and a unique reddish-orange dial. The case back is marked “SGP Back St. Steel 4006-6031 Water Resistant / 161749 / Japan A.” The watch has the rare 4006-6031 reference number and is in nice condition. Some of these Bell-Matic, or Bellmatic, watches are highly collectible and sell for over a thousand. Upon research, the brass two-tone and brass inner dial with reddish-orange/ brown dial is very uncommon. The watch has not been serviced recently.
