This is a fantastic custom hand made drop point bowie knife with desirable coffin handle. The knife shows a heavy fine steel blade with crisp edge and partial case hardened finish. The piece shows a a solid brass hilt with solid brass pegged select walnut two piece grip. The grip has a very unique five edge faceted coffin style which is expertly crafted. The knife is thought to be of an early vintage age possibly dating to the mid 20th Century. The knife measures 11"L overall with a 7"L blade that is 1 1/8"W.
