Featured in this lot we have a set of three Fred Harvey Navajo Native American sterling silver forks. Fred Harvey (1835- 1901) was a businessman in the Southwest United States who ran a number of affordable restaurants, hotels, and train car catering located primarily in Santa Fe. The forks are made of sterling silver and show four tines with flared handles showing decorative grooves on the back of the handles. These pieces of silverware are from one of these 'Harvey House' restaurants and are marked "International Silver Co. Fred Harvey" on the undersides. The utencils show good condition overall with some wear and discoloration indicative of age. The forks measure 7" long by 1" wide.
