Featured in this lot we have a Sharon Barrel Co black powder percussion cap rifle chambered in .45 caliber. The rifle displays a 42" long octagonal barrel, maple half stock, steel trigger guard, dual trigger system, etched lock plate and hammer system, and blue'd finish. The barrel is marked across the top reading "SHARON BARREL CO". The lock plate displays etched floral designs in the front and back of the plate. The stock shows carved vine designs with a half length stock along the barrel. Mechanically the rifle displays a working dual trigger system and tight hammer action. The rifle shows a brass blade front sight and adjustable rear sight. The rifle shows fair condition overall with some wear due to age and damage to the stock around the lock plate and trigger guard. No Serial Number. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
